Parallel Flange Channels (PFC), which are also widely referred to as C-Channels C-Section or simply Channel, are often found being used in the construction process as columns, lintels or beams for support. Usually Parallel Flange Channels are described using their dimension’s, such as depth, width and weight per metre in kilograms.
Often a PFC would be used for lintels above doors, columns supporting a room, or as a beam that’s supporting floor joists.
At SSF Steel fabrications we offer the manufacture of steel parallel flange channels. C-channels vary in depth, size and length. The length of PFC can be adjusted by cutting according to your requirements. All our steelwork products including parallel flange channel are made using latest technology and meet all UK steel fabrication standards.
